About this poster
I’m a little late posting this one, but I’m very excited to show off my first gig poster of 2026! This one for @jasonisbell in Seattle features the ubiquitous Persian rug, a staple in any recording studio/jam space. The decorative details within the rug are goldfinches and rhododendrons, the state bird and flower of Washington. Jason Isbell’s signature Tele lays on top of some handwritten lyrics, which were actually based on the genuine original lyrics to If We Were Vampires, written on Hotel Hershey stationery and featured on display in the Country Music Hall of Fame. I’ve included a photo of the original in slide 10. I didn’t print this poster myself, so that means I unfortunately won’t have my own APs to sell. But I really enjoyed getting to collaborate with the talented printers at @friendlyarctic in Nashville, and they’ve done a phenomenal job bringing my drawing to life!
