"Well this one has been quite a long time coming! I was supposed to do a Black Keys poster for their Halifax show in May 2020, but we all know what happened there... but 2 years and 2 albums later the lads are back on the road and their camp kindly made it up to me with this Holmdel, NJ poster opportunity. This one was pretty fun to draw. NY Metropolitan Area is one of my favourite places to be, and one of my favourite things about it is the bodegas. They're a perfect cross section of the people and history of the micro-community they're located in. Fun fact, Midnight Oil was almost named something along the lines of Bodega Design, but I learned with some deeper research into them that would have been appropriative.
