01.Our Commitment to Intellectual Property

PosterDrops is built on a foundation of respect for artists, designers, and the creative community. We take intellectual property rights seriously and are committed to protecting the work of the artists and creators whose art appears on our platform.

Zero tolerance for counterfeits. PosterDrops maintains a strict policy against counterfeit, unauthorized reproductions, and bootleg prints. Any listing found to be counterfeit will be removed immediately and the seller's account may be suspended.

02.Platform Content

The PosterDrops platform — including its design, code, branding, logos, text, graphics, and original content — is the intellectual property of PosterDrops and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.

03.Artist Rights

Artists and designers retain full copyright ownership of their original artwork. PosterDrops displays poster images for the purpose of cataloging, collecting, and facilitating marketplace transactions.

  • Artists may claim their profile and manage how their work is presented
  • Artists can request removal of their artwork from the platform at any time
  • PosterDrops does not claim ownership of any artist's creative work
  • Images are displayed for informational and marketplace purposes under fair use principles
04.User-Submitted Content

Users who upload images, descriptions, reviews, frame-up photos, and other content to PosterDrops:

  • Retain ownership of their original content
  • Grant PosterDrops a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it on the platform
  • Are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe on third-party rights
  • Must not upload content they do not have rights to use
05.Counterfeit & Unauthorized Reproductions

PosterDrops strictly prohibits the listing or sale of:

  • Counterfeit prints or unauthorized reproductions
  • Bootleg concert posters
  • Unlicensed reprints of copyrighted artwork
  • Items misrepresented as official or artist-approved editions

Listings identified as counterfeit will be removed immediately. Repeat offenders will have their accounts permanently suspended.

06.DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on PosterDrops without authorization, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include:

  • Your full legal name and contact information
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The URL(s) on PosterDrops where the allegedly infringing material appears
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We aim to respond to valid DMCA requests within 48 hours.

07.Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court
  • Your physical or electronic signature

08.Repeat Infringers

PosterDrops maintains a repeat-infringer policy. Users who repeatedly violate copyright or post counterfeit items will have their accounts permanently terminated without prior notice.

09.Fair Use

PosterDrops displays poster images for purposes of cataloging, collecting, historical documentation, commentary, and marketplace transactions. We believe this use falls within fair use principles. However, we respect artists' and copyright holders' rights and will promptly address any concerns.
