Hello all you ghosts, goblins, gremlins, and ghouls of unimaginable frightβ¦ Itβs been four years coming, and I could not be happier to share some new work for the unstoppable Billy Strings. The band is bringing a macabre masquerade like no other to my hometown of Baltimore this weekend; itβs gonna be a freakinβ hoot and a half. I am so stoked that I got to do this poster! Hell yeah!!!!

The theme this year is Universal Monsters; it was a real treat to take a whack at some icons that are over a hundred years oldβand so deeply embedded in our cultural lexicon. Throughout working on this poster, Grace and I watched over a dozen of these horror movies from the 1920s-1950s; it feels like I have been living in the world of this poster for the last month. Canβt stop thinking about Boris Karloff in The Mummy. Canβt stop thinking about how good the Dracula book was. The inflatable Frankenstein lawn decorations really got me lookinβ twice this year.
