About this poster
Here’s the second poster for these JWIII Peach State dates featuring the late Frank Slivers Oakley.
Black layer is the same on all three, the blue background layer changes each night.
Blue layer here features a quote from a 1907 New York Times interview with Frank.
Despite how largely the city figured in my development, this is my first poster for a show in Athens.
I went to high school 3 hours south in Albany, the Good Life City. If you wanted good tunes, you had to drive to Vinyl Fever in Tallahassee or Wuxtry’s in Athens.
The latter is where I bought my first Dwarves record. After that… hit the comic book store and then have some real pizza back when sun-dried tomatoes were an exotic topping.
Red letter day every visit, even the time I puked in front of Kevin Kinney.
