About this poster
A 20” x 30” art print which I designed for The Who’s 2012/13 Quadrophenia & More Tour. It was part of the merchandise given to VIP guests along with lots of other swag including access to the afternoon soundcheck and pretty decent seats for the actual show. Prints were made for each of the shows of the tour with the venue and date printed at the foot. This was the one for Madison Square Garden in New York City, 5 December 2012. Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey usually signed 50 of each venue poster and they were sold with proceeds going to Teen Cancer America. The four photos of Pete, John, Keith and Roger were taken by Roger’s cousin Graham Hughes who also shot the front cover of the Quadrophenia album. These four photos were the ones which were stripped into the mirrors on Jimmy the Mod’s scooter on the album cover. Badges from my collection. The print is titled ‘Can You See The Real Me?’.
