About this poster
In the artwork of FD-86, also known as the "Flower Pot," the blue foil that encircles the vase yields an intriguing surprise when inverted - it forms the graceful profile of a woman's face. The left side of the vase handle cleverly transforms into her flowing ponytail on the right side.
Notably, this poster had two printings, each with distinct color variations. In the original OP-1 printing, the bottom quarter of the table is adorned in a vibrant red hue, and the foil surrounding the flower pot takes on a rich blue shade. These same color combinations can be found on the accompanying postcards.
In contrast, the RP-2 reprint poster exhibits a different color scheme. The table is rendered in a soothing lavender tone, and the foil around the flower pot adopts a lighter, more delicate turquoise blue hue.
