Is it April already?? π³π³! Ok letβs see whatβs the monthly pieceβ¦ oh yeah, itβs April fools day!! So on that note, I wanted to touch on the song made famous by The King himself, Elvis Presley, Fools Rush In. When it comes to the story of Love, this is really a great depiction of how foolish the heart can be. However, you can never truly go wrong when you follow your heart.
Of course, if thereβs a king, there has to be a queen, the Queen of Hearts. Once I found the story, I continued with a playing card style composition, including the blue line outline like the original cards. To complete the story, of course I had to include the fool. I wanted to also add a little Alice feel to this, not sure it completely came through, but, I was really happy how this piece came out.
In the end... Even though there are several iterations of this song, I went with βFoolsβ by Foster. Reason why...

Fool for her
Acting cool for her
She's too bad for me
But I'm too good for her
She makes me so nervous, probably on purpose
She's just so perfect
I just can't help it
