Without further ado or delay, I am pleased to present something that I have worked very, very hard on.
The Decades Between: a tribute to the life and legacy of Jerry Garcia
Four prints, 12x36 each, seven colors, a rainbow full of sound straight to your noggin. It has been a long and testing six months working on this quartet, and I could not be more grateful to finally have this out in the world. I'm sure I'll have many more words to share about these four later—references to break down and things to point out, reasons why I did things the way I did them, etc. But, for now... I want you to share a few words about them with me. Take a look, tell me what you think. Show me what you've spotted, what easter eggs you've uncovered, what references stuck out to you. Tell me what you like, tell me what you love. Tell me what I could have done better. I have spent so much time staring at these pieces, I know what resonates with me—but I want to know what resonates with you.
Heading out to San Francisco tomorrow, pockets stocked with stickers and pins and handshakes. Say hey—I've been looking forward to this weekend for so long and can't wait to see everyone in the park.
