Well, lyrics often help me to create ideas for my concert posters, but sometimes it’s a mix of lyrics and influence of local culture. This time that was definitely the case…
I always seem to notice @davematthewsband singing about spirits, or ghosts or life after death. This theme seemed perfect to me when being asked to create a print for night one of their Charleston shows. A city rich with ghost culture and history.
This ghostly scene of St. Michael’s church is my gift to all of you lucky enough to attend tonight’s show.
