Crafted by George Hunter and Michael Ferguson, both members of the Charlatans, it served as a vibrant invitation to the inaugural event of Charlatans at the Red Dog Saloon in Virginia City, Nevada, slated for June 1965. This particular version, labeled AOR 2.2, originally bore the dates June 1-15, 1965. However, due to a delay in the opening, a subsequent poster, designated as AOR 2.1, was issued with the corrected dates, marking the official launch on June 21. The poster came in two ink variations—black and blue, with the latter being slightly more prevalent, though both are notably rare, particularly in well-preserved conditions.
