About this poster
This is a special edition reprint of on extremely rare and popular Grateful Dead poster from 1968. The legendary Pig Pen, original lead singer, is prominently featured on this poster. Pig Pen, as many Deadheads will tell you, was also the harmonica and orgon player.
Because of Pig Pen's influence at the time, the Grateful Dead had a bluesier feel. After all, as Muddy Waters said, "the blues had a baby and they called it rock and roll."
This numbered lithograph is an exact, limited edition reproduction of the original 1968 poster and was actually printed from the original film. Edition size is strictly limited to 5,000. This work of art is certified as authentic and guaranteed as represented.
