About this poster
"Always an honor to work with the good folks at the Lockn' Festival. Unfortunately I don't have much of an artist edition on this one. Due to a faulty dishwasher in the apartment above my studio we came in one morning to find a waterfall directly over one of my drying racks. 150 prints went down the proverbial drain but luckily none of the variants were effected."

Original drawing created for the August 2018 Lockn' Festival in beautiful Arrington, VA. This full color drawing is the roadmap AJ uses in carving and printing the linoleum block gig poster editions. Not only is this the drawing that is sent to the band for final approval, it is also actually run through the printing press onto the linoleum to create the printing plates. If you're not familiar with AJ's process, please check out his YouTube channel to see how these pastel drawings are an integral part of the creative process. Truly unique and a one of a kind piece, signed by the artist.
