This uncut pair of concert posters is a collector's gem, promoting the "Death and Transfiguration" event, a two-day happening organized by the Stockville Light Express. The event featured performances by local bands, including the Plastic Explosion and the Plague, and took place at Webb's in Stockton, CA, on April 14-15, 1967. The eye-catching artwork for this poster is courtesy of the renowned Victor Moscoso and is identified as image #13 in the Neon Rose series.
Additionally, this poster offers a unique historical overlay with the inclusion of the 2nd printings of Rick Griffin's iconic "Oracle" and "Lucifer Rising (a Film by Kenneth Anger)" images, both originating from early 1967.
