"The music and art of Pink Floyd has been a staple in my life for as long as I can remember. I've always been drawn to the surrealistic art work of Storm Thorgerson, who worked closely with Pink Floyd creating almost every single one of their album covers. I wanted to tap into that surrealistic eye of Storm, but looking through the lens of my illustrative stylization. There are references to some of Storm's work in my piece, as well as references to Pink Floyd songs and albums and even videos, predominantly from Dark Side of the Moon era. To be able to create a piece that connects these bands (Gov't Mule and Pink Floyd) together is an absolute honor"
