I’ve loved Ghibli since I first watched spirited away freshman year of college (I know, way way late to the game), and for years people have been telling me that I should do a Ghibli poster, so I was insanely stoked when Spoke shot me an email asking me to hop on the horn with them, and even more stoked when they told me I had the chance to draw something for such a beloved Ghibli movie. For those who know, they’ve put out SO MANY great ghibli works, so I really had to rack my brain on how to make something that fit among such an expansive and vibrant body of work, but I’m incredibly happy with what ended up being cooked up. It’s chock FULL of references and details to the movie, lending itself to being one of the most detailed works I’ve ever created. I hope you guys are even half as jazzed about it as I am.
