About this poster
The concept is so painfully influenced by my recent watchings of street fighter and mortal combat history videos, and the fact that the venue is shaped like a space ship in the middle of the woods - I pulled everything together with the pitch “What if I drew a pig ryu, vaporizing an enemy with a Hadoken/Kamehameha from the bass in front of a final destination space (for you brawl fans out there) stage, with the venue on an island? Also what if the band’s name is a rip on the massive K.O. graphic? Well, for whatever reason the band said yes to all of that, and the result was an illustration that was probably the most fun I’ve had on a piece in a while - I’m incredibly stoked on it, and I hope y’all like it too.
