"Today I finally get to share with you my first officially licensed piece for the Grateful Dead!! Titled "Forever Grateful" it is a celebration of not only the band - but the lifestyle, community and legacy that continues to surround us "Heads" to this very day.
My first Grateful Dead show was at Giants Stadium in 1992, I was late to the party - I know - but I was hooked. My next few years were spent catching as many shows as possible, traveling all over the country following this band and the unique chaos surrounding them. In this ode to the iconic dancing bears, I wanted to capture a bit of that essence, the beauty, joy and bliss - with just a hint of mayhem - that can only be a Grateful Dead show." - AJ
