About this poster

David’s more recent gig posters have been exploring dreamlike architectural forms, weaving together symbolic references drawn from songs by the Trey Anastasio Band and Primus alongside ethereal visual elements. The result is a surreal, structural style that highlights the artist’s distinctive “inner architect” approach to composition.


This poster was created for Primus’s 2017 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The imagery was later reworked by the artist into the art print Waiting for the Flood, which features a closely related design.
