"Dahlia was essentially a huge experiment for me in printmaking, both in overprinting on gold leaf and blind emboss into the leaf, luckily both were very successful (praise be the print gods 🙏). Thanks to everyone that’s been following along on this one, I’m quite pleased with the final product." - AJ
This one of three was created during the initial proofing stages of the edition when I was figuring out which colors to use in the flowers.
Dahlia is a multicolor letterpress print with silver leaf and blind emboss throughout on Arches 88 paper, 9"x9" with hand torn edges, signed and marked as "proof".
