This is EMEK's striking concert poster design created for Ween's performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 29th, 2006. The artwork cleverly connects to the band's irreverent style by reimagining James Earle Fraser's iconic "End of the Trail" sculpture as a steampunk fantasy.
The central image features a mechanical horse and rider rendered in intricate brass-colored detail, complete with gears, pistons, and articulated joints. The design cleverly maintains the weary, forward-leaning pose of the original sculpture while transforming it into something both whimsical and dystopian.
