About this poster

Here’s my print for tonight and tomorrow’s Dead & Company shows at Nassau Coliseum! When I was asked to create this piece I instantly thought of David Byrd’s classic 1973 Grateful Dead poster from the same venue, the one where “he’s truckin” and “she’s posin”. My roommate in college, Corey White aka the Vegetarian Butcher, had the handbill hung up in our dorm room and I spent untold hours staring at it. Hence the “Swell Dance Concert”, a tribute to the amazing Mr. Byrd. 4 color linoblock print, edition of 850, 18”x24”. Have fun tonight kids!
