Located at 2111 Commerce St in Downtown Dallas, Circle A Ranch was a short-lived but legendary punk venue open from 09/14/1985 to 04/11/1986. In just six months, it hosted iconic acts like The Butthole Surfers, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Samhain, Stickmen with Rayguns, Corrosion of Conformity, Rigor Mortis, Scratch Acid, Killdozer, Tex & the Horseheads, The Mentors, JFA, Poison 13, and New York Dolls’ Johnny Thunders and Sylvain Sylvain. A brief but unforgettable chapter in Texas punk history.
