Formed by light artist Bill Ham with jazz musicians Fred Marshall and Jerry Granelli, Light Sound Dimension was an experimental multimedia group combining live light projection, improvisational jazz, and electronic sound. Often joined by Beverly Bivens, Noel Jewkes, and Flip Nuñez, the group developed one of San Francisco’s earliest fully integrated audio-visual performances, blending spontaneous composition with evolving fields of color and motion.
