He began in 1990 at Jager DiPaola Kemp Design in Burlington, Vermont where his work for Burton Snowboards was instrumental in creating the design culture of alternative sports. In 2000, he left his art director position for the big city and the life of a freelancer. In 2004, he re-joined JDK Design to open it’s New York City office as its creative lead. After a solid seven-year run, David returns to his independent practice.
