I'm an illustrator & designer living near Chicago, Illinois. I currently work for a company called 1Password on the brand design team, working on everything from illustration to design to art direction. Previously I worked with the University of Illinois at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology as a graphic designer and illustrator, working with researchers and scientists to visually translate complex scientific concepts. My scientific art and design background came in handy when I worked with author Kate Messner to illustrate the picture book Insect Superpowers, available from Chronicle Books. Other freelance illustration clients include GE, Netflix, Airwick, NPR, Papyrus Greetings, The Washington Post, and Cricket Children’s Publishing.
