Based in Carmichael, California, Michael Dolgushkin—working as Hot Tomato Studios—has been creating concert art since 1971, inspired by the classic San Francisco poster artists. Over the decades, he’s designed thousands of pieces for acts like John Cipollina, Steve Kimock, Zero, and Big Brother & the Holding Company. Still hand-drawing his lettering and linework before adding color digitally, Dolgushkin continues to produce new designs and accept commissions.
