Laura Baisden cut her teeth on letterpress blocks as a young pup, putting away type and cranking posters for Bryce McCloud at Isle of Printing from 2006-2010. There, she learned to love carving and the process of letterpress printing. Then, she got a job at Hatch Show Print and really honed her typesetting skills designing posters for all kinds of jobs local and international. In five years, she designed and printed hundreds of posters, redistributed thousands of letters and taught about 70 interns the ins and outs of letterpress printing.
