About this poster
Part 2 of my 'Dressed to Kill' art print from 2008. The artwork was original from my 2008 QOTSA in Saskatoon, Canada poster that I created in the style of a comic book story page. I later made a large art print of the top panel without the text and titled it 'Dressed to Kill'. I'm now offering panel two for 'Dressed to Kill' part 2. You can make an entire wall a comic book page with these two. I will later offer a part 3 print as well.
The exercise from an artist standpoint was to create a Noir Pop Art print in the tradition of Roy Lichtenstein. He appropriated romance comic book pages of the 1960's making them into large oversized art prints emphasizing the enlarged dot pattern from the comic page increased to a size it was never originally meant to be.
