Phish Festival 8 Indio 09 Cadigan (SE) - Uncut Edition
About this poster
Both posters feature Phish's four previous Halloween albums caught in the web of a microphone-shaped spider, with a UFO hovering in the sky. Inspired by old-school blacklight posters, the two designs offer opposing perspectives of the same scene.
Left – Indio: Features “Indio” across the top and “Halloween 8” within the spiderweb below. A zombie unicorn races across the Indio desert, while zombie versions of John Lennon, Lou Reed, Roger Daltrey, and David Byrne approach an empty stage in the background.
Right – California: Features “California” across the top, with “Oct 30, Oct 31, Nov 1” incorporated into the spiderweb. A hippie zombie wearing an 8 T-shirt holds a Festival 8 ticket, illuminated by the stage lights. The unicorn appears in the background, connecting the two prints as reverse perspectives of the same scene.
