About this poster
Designed by Rob Jones and Christopher Everhart for the Foo Fighters’ Take Cover Tour. The Las Vegas-inspired artwork depicts the band as invading alien cyborgs fashioned from vintage slot machines, set against a post-apocalyptic landscape.
The design incorporates numerous Foo Fighters references, including a massive The Colour and the Shape sign, ray guns inspired by the band’s debut album, imagery from Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, and a flower-carrying machine representing Pat Smear. Bert the Turtle, from the classic “Duck and Cover” civil-defense film, provides an additional nod to the Take Cover tour name.
