About this poster
The illustration bridges the gap between the current album and the city of Dublin. Inspired by the book „Ghost Mountain“ by the Irish author Rónán Hession, I searched for hilltops in the Dublin area. And I found Killiney Hill, with a building known as ‘the Obelisk’. This fits perfectly into the kind of dream world created by the protagonist. Inside the building is a starry sky, a reference to the song ‘Full of Stars’. Everything is surrounded by Irish grassland.
For the typeface, I did choose a modern adaptation of a vintage/medieval script to draw a connection to Ireland here as well.
