I'm excited to share with you a print I made for Phish @ MPP this weekend! I had a few ideas for this run but when I went in the space cat direction I quickly learned of a cat named Felicette that the French sent up into low space...also Your Pet Cat is one of my favorite songs and Pillow Jets > Your Pet Cat at Mondegreen was rocking!
Anyways, starting to do that research into the cat as well as MPP's history inspired my work. The trapezoid shape for the date and location references Frank Gerhy's shape for the original MPP. There's other fun little easter eggs in here too.
There will be around 40 hand-pressed prints available in an edition with some variations (various stages of cutting, keyline prints, a few foils).
