About this poster
Official poster created for Widespread Panic's three-night run at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California, held July 16–18, 2026. Designed in collaboration with Owen Murphy and One Drop Design Studio, the artwork draws inspiration from the song "Postcard."
The main edition consists of 420 copies printed on Manila Yellow Kraft paper with blacklight-reactive neon inks, while the variant edition is limited to 50 copies on Construction Steel Blue paper with pastel inks.
Each hand-pulled silkscreen utilizes split fountain gradients, giving every print its own unique color transitions and subtle variations.
Reflecting on the printing process, the artist shared that one of the most rewarding aspects was printing the reverse side first. After layering five colors on the front, the backs naturally became worn and distressed, creating the appearance of a postcard that had traveled through the mail—a fitting detail that reinforces the artwork's central theme.
