About this poster
"It’s hard to put into words, but creating posters for absolute legends is a dream come true, at least for me. I still remember the first time I saw and heard the Lullaby music video. The Cure are a truly unique band, one of a kind. I tried to capture the spirit of The Cure while approaching it through a slightly more Polish poster-art aesthetic. The main inspiration was the idea of capturing a heavy anchor suspended in flight, along with, of course, the terrifying spider. It brings together one of my earliest memories of The Cure with the place where the concert took place. “And there is nothing I can do when I realise with fright, that the Spiderman is having me for dinner tonight.”
