About this poster
This second Dirty Heads piece was created as part of the same exclusive drop on the band’s website, which ended up selling out.
Where “7 Seas, 7 Tales” showed the map, this one felt like stepping straight into the legend.
I wanted the scene to feel like an underwater myth coming alive: a ghost captain guarding the deep, mermaids drawn toward the glow, and a treasure chest lighting the whole world from below.
There’s a darker, more cinematic feel to this one. Still playful, still full of that Dirty Heads energy, but with more mystery and weight behind it.
The chest became the heart of the piece. To me, it almost represents the music itself — this thing buried beneath the surface that pulls everybody in.
Together, the two posters feel like companion pieces: one showing the world, and the other revealing the secret at the center of it.
