About this poster
Jillian Ludwig was one of our first fans in Nashville after moving down from the shore to study music at Belmont. She shared a very similar musical upbringing with us, playing @the_stone_pony showcases and all around Asbury, but her path to stardom was tragically cut short in the fall of ‘23.
Over the last few years, we’ve teamed up with the @raeoflightfoundationjl to bring her spirit into our community. Rae of Light’s mission is close to Jill’s heart, just as it is to all of ours: all kids should have a chance to study and play music regardless of their upbringing. She was so passionate for the cause that as a high schooler, she formed her own charity called “Playing It Forward,” through which she offered to play music at local Jersey establishments and donate her earnings for future musicians to come. It is an honor to carry on her mission and raise money for what she believed in.
This year’s trip to Nashville is gonna be extra special, and we’ll be singing and dancing in Jill’s memory all night long. Jams For Jill veteran @milesconnor__ will be opening the show to warm up the vibe for the night. In effort to provide opportunity to aspiring musicians through educational scholarships, all proceeds from this incredible poster by @carlo_welsh will be donated, along with lots of fun items and experiences to be announced.
