Night Owl 09 Spusta (LE) - Dark Green Edition
About this poster
Released in 2009, Night Owl was produced in a total edition of 100 prints, consisting of 50 in the blue edition and 50 additional variant prints. For this release, Marq Spusta experimented with both printing processes and paper colors to create a range of distinct results, with some variants measuring slightly larger than the standard size. The entire edition was printed at Monolith Press in Oakland, California.
The Night Owl image originally debuted on a poster created for My Morning Jacket’s performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The standard print measures 15" × 18" and is screen printed on green paper. The exceptionally scarce green variant was limited to just 16 copies; this example is numbered 11 and remains in mint condition. Each print is hand-signed and numbered by Marq Spusta.
