About this poster
I began this project as I have many others, exploring Tulsa lore and lyrical themes that I could weave into concepts. There’s a common thread throughout Billy’s writing that resonates with many, myself included. Intertwined with face-melting guitar licks and mandolin strings, is a message of steady resilience - a collective acknowledgment of absurdity in the face of uncertainty, and how the strength to carry on will often come from a place you’d least expect. At the end of the day, I personally find comfort in a reality where bluegrass sells out arenas in 2025.
