“The surrealistic landscape I created for Johnny Blue Skies is a culmination of my love of Johnny’s last record, early brutalist architecture and my love of animation from the 1930s.
I wanted to create a world that was both familiar but also etherial. Combining an array of common place objects, bold geometry, and being set somewhere in the heavens; it lands the design in a sort of liminal and dream-like space that could be anywhere.” - Christian Taylor
