Her lips of a startling red indicate her vitality, at the same time evoking her power of seduction, so that a certain erotic element is present. The title of the work, “Turncoat”, echoes the furious expression of the person, whom the artist describes as “dominant, almost angry”. Has she been betrayed, or is she on the point of betraying? Still in a style reminiscent of pop art and comic books, D*Face once more faces us with an eloquent mural of arresting force.
