About this poster
A little trivia about the idea behind the creation of the poster: According to Irish legend, a giant called Finn MacCool wanted to take on a Scottish giant called Benandonner in a fight, but there was no boat big enough to cross the sea and take them to meet each other. Legend has it that MacCool solved the problem by building a causeway connecting the two sides, using huge stone columns. Hence the giants’ promenade. It’s always very interesting, from my point of view as an illustrator, to bring in aspects of the cities of the shows where the artists will be performing, I think the public identifies when they see this kind of art on merch around the world, and in this case, it may have been a good/funny parallel with “All the small things”.
