About this poster
This art poster pays homage to Kozik's Houston '92 poster, featuring a similar image. It appears as one of the "polaroid" images in No Code, with some prints (possibly 501-1000) showing a "blue shift" printing defect. Each poster is numbered on the back, and there is also a 4"x4" handbill version.
There was a single printing run of 1000 copies, all produced before the concert. Additionally, 8000 cards were printed alongside the posters. These cards were distributed for free at the concert, in shops in Rome before the concert, at the Pearl Jam booth at the venue, and at a record fair a few weeks before the gig. About 500 of these cards remain, most with a rubber stamp on the back.
In 1996, ART ROCK in San Francisco purchased 400 copies of the poster. I personally gave one to Mr. Kozik during a visit there.
Additionally, there are 15 uncut art proofs, each measuring 50x70 cm and featuring 8 cards. These proofs are numbered in Roman numerals and signed.
