About this poster
"The Bindweed Press, San Francisco" appears in the border above the right side of the ticket outlets strip. "Mouse! Studios - '66" credit appears in the left end of the bottom margin above the words "Ticket Outlets".
Image taken from a 1913 woodcut by artist Edmund Sullivan, originally done to illustrate the 26th quatrain of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, this block print underscores the verse "The Flower that once has blown for ever dies."
The artist later released Skeleton and Roses, an art print featuring a similar design.
