About this poster
"This ‘Simple”Pollock” is Jim Pollock's artistic rendition of the collective whole that are Phish fans. Naturally, with it being a “Simple Print” you have Saxophones and Skyscrapers because what is a band without those!
Swimming alongside them you have a Taper recording a show, a fan selling crystals and gems (or glow-sticks depending on your point of view) and I even saw a fan… with a ticket stub in their hand!
Naturally in this “Aquatic Lot” you have the typical holy trinity of fans selling pins, prints and tee shirts with a final fan enjoying the goodness that is coming out of a poster tube (or playing it like a Saxophone... again depending on your point of view)
All these fans, as different as they are, swim in unison in the same sea, for the same reason… “Chasing the Phish”." - ML
The prints were stacked wet so the backs have ink transfer from the print below.
