About this poster
I’m ecstatic about the opportunity to work with Daniel Donato and team on this poster for Cosmic Country’s winter tour! My goal with the design was to achieve a vibrant look that is tasteful and equal parts western/country & cosmic/psychedelic. It’ll be the most detailed artwork I’ve ever printed and I’m stoked on that too. This poster is a solid example of how I sometimes channel happenings in my personal life into my artwork. I’ve been dealing with a metaphorical “snake in my stomach” - negative feelings due to tension in a close relationship. The best way to get rid of these snakes is to shine a spotlight on them (address the problem and work through it). By doing so you can create something so beautiful. This project helped me do that!
