About this poster
Purchasers of the Main and/or Variant Edition can add this beautiful two color, 8.5" x 11" screenprint of the iconic Ready to Die baby for an additional $26.00. This isn't a photograph, it is a hand drawn rendering by Paul Jackson. Each will be signed with our holographic sticker on the back of the print. A few lucky purchasers will receive extremely limited foil editions instead of the cougar white paper. All proceeds go directly to the Christopher Wallace Foundation. This is not available for individual purchase.
"It was a huge honor to be asked to create a poster for Notorious B.I.G. on the 26th anniversary of Ready to Die. I remember hearing the record for the first time in the mid-90's and being blown away by it. It was a new wave of hip hop for me and I was hooked straight away. Biggie's vocals are second to none and thats why he remains the king! This poster was trying to reflect some of the grittiness of Brooklyn and NYC at the time, and reflect his song titles within that world. Biggie always stood strong so the pose is supposed to reflect that. I like the image being simple yet somewhat direct and confrontational - much like his music." - PJ
