About this poster
This tour celebrates the twenty year anniversary of two great albums, “Give Up” and “Transatlanticism”. While the red thread is an obvious nod to the cover of the latter, much of the little still life depicted here is my tribute to the former.
This scene prominently features the Kurzweil K2000R, the sound module/sampler used for a large portion of the sounds we love on the Give Up album.
“Give Up” is a special album to me (and many others of course). When it came out in 2003, it sort of blew everyone’s mind, and it holds up all these years later. I still picture my 19 year old self driving on Lake Shore Drive blasting this CD with the windows down. What an honor getting to make one of the posters for this tour.
