About this poster
Being at the creative helm of JRAD has proven to be as much of a challenge as it is fun, especially when it comes to creating a new image for them once a month (sometimes twice), without it feeling like it’s the same derivative theme over and over again. To try to curb this, Joe and team have been gracious enough to let me depart my usual style and stretch, as I’ve done a few times - with this one being no exception. When I told them what I wanted to do I just said “I only know I want it to be minimal, color and type driven, and inspired by mid century design.” From there, I played with how I could ONLY have JRAD, the full band name, and the show info, and that’s how I landed here - the dots spell out JRAD, serve as a design element, and serve up a dose of minimalist primary colored goodness. Thank you as always to this crew for giving me the freedom to do different things like this!
