About this poster
I’ve worked on this image for several years now, so long that I had to revise the image of the central figure (my son Jackson) as he aged so much by the time this was completed. I don’t often talk about the meaning behind my art, as often the meaning is either personal, or dips in and out of stream of consciousness, but this one is deeply meaningful to me as a reminder to work to heal and move forward.
It’s been a heavy several years, both as an individual as well as father and husband, and through the myriad challenges, my intent has been to persevere, learn from my mistakes with the goal to better myself for me and my family. The image functions as a reminder to reflect on both the past and the future and move ever onward.
